Wanneer je een <a href=\"https:\/\/kinsta.com\/nl\/blog\/waarom-wordpress\/\">WordPress website<\/a> hebt, kan je WordPress ook zo instellen dat alle mails van de website verstuurd worden via je Outlook account, om ze betrouwbaarder te maken.<\/p>\n<p>In dit artikel behandelen we alles wat je moet weten over Outlook SMTP instellingen. We beginnen met de daadwerkelijke SMTP gegevens en instellingen, en de POP3 en IMAP instellingen (om ook mails te kunnen ontvangen).<\/p>\n<p>Voor WordPress gebruikers zullen we ook uitleggen hoe je WordPress zo kan instellen dat e-mails verstuurd worden via Microsoft Outlook.<\/p>\n<div><\/div><kinsta-auto-toc heading=\"Table of Contents\" exclude=\"last\" list-style=\"arrow\" selector=\"h2\" count-number=\"-1\"><\/kinsta-auto-toc>\n<h2>Outlook SMTP instellingen<\/h2>\n<p>Dit zijn de gegevens die je nodig hebt om je e-mailclient of WordPress website zo in te stellen dat de Outlook SMTP server gebruikt wordt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SMTP Server<\/strong>: smtp.office365.com<\/li>\n<li><strong>Port<\/strong>: 587 (lees <a href=\"https:\/\/kinsta.com\/blog\/smtp-port\/\">meer over SMTP ports<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Requires SSL<\/strong>: Yes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Requires TLS<\/strong>: Yes (indien beschikbaar)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Authentication<\/strong>: Yes (Kies voor <strong>Login <\/strong>als er meerdere opties zijn)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Username<\/strong>: Je volledige Outlook e-mailadres, dus bijvoorbeeld salman123@outlook.com<\/li>\n<li><strong>Password<\/strong>: Je Outlook wachtwoord, dat je ook gebruikt om in te loggen op de Outlook website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De Outlook SMTP server heeft enkele beperkingen qua aantal mails waar je je bewust van moet zijn: zo kan je tot 300 mails per dag versturen aan 100 ontvangers.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Outlook POP3 instellingen<\/h2>\n<p>Met de Outlook <a href=\"https:\/\/kinsta.com\/nl\/blog\/gratis-smtp-server\/\">SMTP server<\/a> kan je e-mails versturen via je Outlook account, maar je hebt POP3 en IMAP nodig om ook e-mails te ontvangen en importeren die mensen naar jou sturen. We zullen in het volgende deel naar IMAP kijken.<\/p>\n<p>Wil je een e-mailclient gebruiken, dan is het ook belangrijk om de POP3 of IMAP gegevens toe te voegen om e-mails van Outlook te kunnen ontvangen in je gewenste e-mailclient. In het algemeen is IMAP beter dan POP3 als je e-mails wil kunnen laden op verschillende apparaten (bijvoorbeeld je desktop \u00e9n je smartphone), omdat je daarmee twee kanten op kan synchroniseren. Maar POP3 kan een betere keuze zijn als je maar \u00e9\u00e9n apparaat gebruikt voor je mails.<\/p>\n<p>Bedenk hierbij dat Outlook standaard POP3 uit heeft staan. Om het in te schakelen, klik je op het tandwiel rechtsboven in de Outlook interface, en zoek je op &#8220;pop&#8221;. Outlook heeft IMAP toegang standaard open staan, dus je hoeft alleen maar onderstaande instellingen te gebruiken:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Server<\/strong>: outlook.office365.com<\/li>\n<li><strong>Port<\/strong>: 993<\/li>\n<li><strong>Encryption method<\/strong>: TLS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Outlook SMTP instellen voor WordPress websites<\/h2>\n<p>Stel dat je de betrouwbaarheid van de mails die je WordPress website verstuurt wil verhogen. Dan kan je je WordPress website zo instellen dat alle e-mails verzonden worden via de Outlook SMTP server om gebruik te maken van de royale limieten (<em>300 mails per dag naar 100 verschillende ontvangers<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Het opzetten hiervan draait vooral om het invoeren van de Outlook SMTP serverinstellingen in een WordPress SMTP plugin (<em>hieronder te zien<\/em>). Maar als je problemen tegenkomt, zijn er ook allerlei andere gratis SMTP servers die je kan gebruiken, zoals de <a href=\"https:\/\/kinsta.com\/nl\/blog\/gmail-smtp-server\/\">gratis Gmail SMTP server<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Installeer de Post SMTP plugin en voer de &#8220;From&#8221; gegevens in<\/h3>\n<p>Om WordPress e-mails te laten verzenden via SMTP, heb je een WordPress SMTP plugin nodig. Er zijn verschillende populaire opties, maar we raden de <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/post-smtp\/\">Post SMTP plugin<\/a> aan, aangezien het 100% gratis is en features biedt voor het debuggen van potenti\u00eble problemen die je tegenkomt.<\/p>\n<p>Om te beginnen installeer en activeer je de gratis Post SMTP plugin via WordPress.org. Toevoegen van de Outlook SMTP server aan de instellingen van je plugin<\/h3>\n<p>Open de volledige instellingen weer door te klikken op de link <strong>Show All Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In het tabblad <strong>Account<\/strong> kies je <strong>SMTP<\/strong> in het dropdownmenu <strong>Type<\/strong>, en zorg je ervoor dat je in het menu <strong>Mailer Type<\/strong> <strong>Post SMTP<\/strong> kiest.<\/p>\n<p>Je zou nu een uitgeklapte lijst met opties moeten zien onder het veld met de Outlook SMTP servergegevens. Configureer ze vervolgens zo:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Outgoing Mail Server Hostname<\/strong>: smtp.office365.com<\/li>\n<li><strong>Outgoing Mail Server Port:<\/strong> 587<\/li>\n<li><strong>Envelope-From Email Address:<\/strong> Voer hier je Outlook e-mailadres toe. De plugin stel meestal ook meteen een oplossing voor.
