We’d like you to bring what you’re best at to the table and blend that into our existing swirl of talents so that we can make the most of our collective minds.

Two teams under one roof
We have our Product Design and Marketing Design teams housed under one Design umbrella. We focus on different things, but being connected means we can make sure we’re building a unified experience for our users and a consistent brand for Kinsta.
Product Design Team
Product Designers work on improving the workflow of web developers and site managers by creating an ecosystem of tools for them. Team members share product expertise, UX and service design methods, UI skills, and a researcher attitude.
Design in a system
To keep our solutions consistent, decisions consequent, UI clean, and copy straightforward, we’ve built Stratus, our own Design System. From Figma through Storybook to production, everything is streamlined and kept in sync.
Full-stack design workflow
Product Design at Kinsta embraces the complete Design Thinking workflow: discovery research, exploring ideas, building UI, and supporting implementation. We don’t expect you to be a jack of all trades, but you should understand the flow from end to end.
Sometimes it’s service design
You will be encouraged to think outside the box and consider the big picture. In many cases, this will take you from UI design to service-level solutions. For instance, we might get asked to add a button, but what we could actually end up doing is enhancing communication or reworking some of our internal processes.
Ownership over product decisions
We work in cross-functional agile teams. What’s uncommon, though, is that the Product Owner is not one specific person. Instead, critical product decisions are made through the collaboration of designers and developers.
Expect to learn technology
What we do often involves technical details, such as digging deeper into and understanding complex infrastructures or “how the internet works” kind of things. It might sound a bit scary and certainly isn’t for everyone, but we find it interesting as heck!
Marketing Design Team
When it comes to designing marketing materials, illustrations, ads, internal tools, ebooks, HR documents, or a handful of fun sticker swag, we act fast and are always ready to jump on the requests we receive.
Figma for everything
We use Figma not only for web and product design, but for most of the marketing materials that we create. Extensions, plugins, and workflow optimization are part of our lives too.
Surrounded by professionals
We work closely with all departments and are lucky to regularly engage with and learn from other teams at Kinsta. You can always pick up more knowledge about not just marketing, but sales, development, or even legal matters too.
Working on fun projects
Besides the traditional tasks of a graphic designer, we always have some fun projects where we can sharpen our design skills. We work on internal marketing tools, branding of new and cool products, swag products for guests and customers, and marketing campaigns.
Always new illustrations
Several illustrators work closely with the design team to make sure we always have unique and awesome assets for new projects. Over the years, we’ve crafted 750+ unique illustrations only for our blog covers, expanding our illustration library to a mammoth size.
