We are mgn, a WordPress agency based in Tokyo, Japan. Since 2015, we have been building and maintaining websites for companies, schools, and organizations.

From planning and design to development, launch, and maintenance, we manage every stage of a project. After launch, we continue working with our clients, reviewing site data and making improvements so the website keeps supporting their business goals. We think beyond the website. If another channel would bring better results, we will recommend it and help our clients make the most of it.

Our team has been active in the WordPress community in Japan for more than a decade. Our CEO, Hajime Ogushi, co-authored a long-running beginner’s guide to WordPress, now in its fifth edition, and chaired WordCamp Tokyo 2013. Other members have chaired and co-organized WordCamp Tokyo in 2018 and 2019, and we sponsored WordCamp Asia 2023.

Every site we deliver is built so that clients can update their own content easily. We work with block editors and are a certified Expert for Snow Monkey, a widely used WordPress theme in Japan. We also provide training and support to help client teams get started.

Security is part of every project. mgn holds ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001) certification, and our maintenance services include WordPress updates and security support.

We work in both Japanese and English and support international organizations operating in Japan as well as domestic businesses.
