Kinsta is a premium managed hosting provider for WordPress trusted by 120,000+ businesses, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, with a 97% customer satisfaction rating.
Sevalla (a Kinsta company) is a developer-first PaaS built for teams running real production applications. It’s designed as an off-ramp from hyperscaler complexity, giving developers a faster path from code to production without managing infrastructure. This internship will be for Sevalla.
We’re motivated by excellent quality and proud to have received a 97% satisfaction rating from our customers. That's because, to us, each day is a chance to grow. As a team, we continuously inspire each other to learn new and better ways to make an impact. We own our jobs proudly - our leaders don't hold our hands, but they're in our corner whenever we ask for help - and our environment is flexible and remote-first.
The GTM Engineer Intern supports Sevalla’s activation and conversion efforts by helping developers move from initial signup to meaningful production usage. Sevalla is focused on reducing the friction between initial adoption and running real production workloads. This role improves the developer journey by increasing visibility into user behavior, supporting onboarding, and helping users validate Sevalla in real production scenarios.
It is hands-on and execution-focused, with clear expectations tied to improving activation and reducing friction in the path to production. The role supports execution and insight generation, while ownership of strategy, prioritization, and outcomes remains with the marketing team.
This is a part-time role (10–20 hours per week), based in the United States, running from August 2026 through December 2026.
What You'll Do:
-
Assist in identifying friction in the first deployment and onboarding experience
-
Help document common user issues and patterns observed during onboarding
-
Support improvements to onboarding flows in collaboration with marketing and product teams
-
Build production-grade demo applications that show how Sevalla replaces AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Kubernetes setups, helping users evaluate real production use cases
-
Support technical validation during evaluation (light pre-sales), progressing toward independently delivering product overviews and demos that help move qualified users into production
-
Assist in building and maintaining funnel visibility (signup → activation → paid)
-
Support analysis of user behavior to identify drop-off points and onboarding friction
-
Help document key insights and surface opportunities to improve conversion
-
Support lifecycle and onboarding workflows across Mixpanel, Intercom, and HubSpot
-
Assist with tracking, messaging, and lead routing to ensure high-intent users are identified and supported
-
Help improve how users move from initial engagement to activation and production usage
-
Report daily to Mentor(s) on completed tasks and progress
-
Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with their Mentor
-
Participate in performance reviews with their Manager at the end of the first and third months
-
Use Mixpanel, Intercom, HubSpot, Slack, and related tools to manage and track work
-
Maintain active communication in the Kinsta Slack workspace
What You Bring To The Role:
-
You have a strong interest in GMT and Technology
-
You are detail-oriented and eager to learn new tools and processes
-
You have good written and verbal communication skills in English
-
You are proactive, organized, and able to manage tasks independently in a remote environment
