Blackfire Monitoring

Blackfire.io is a monitoring tool that provides detailed information about your site’s performance in real-time to identify issues and optimize your site.

To use Blackfire monitoring, you’ll need to sign up for your own Blackfire account and set up an environment for your website hosted on MyKinsta.

Enable Blackfire monitoring

Within MyKinsta, go to WordPress sites > sitename > Tools, and within Blackfire monitoring, click Enable.

MyKinsta requires a Server ID and Token from Blackfire. Within Blackfire, select your environment, then go to Settings > Environment credentials.

Copy and paste the Server ID and Token into MyKinsta, and click Enable Blackfire.

Pause monitoring

If you pause Blackfire monitoring, your credentials are retained if you wish to resume it at a later time. When it is paused it does not have any impact on the performance of your site.

To pause Blackfire monitoring, within WordPress sites > sitename > Tools Blackfire monitoring, click Change > Pause monitoring.

To confirm you want to pause monitoring, click Pause Blackfire.

Change your Blackfire credentials

To change your Server ID or Token for Blackfire, within WordPress sites > sitename > Tools Blackfire monitoring, click Change > Update credentials.

Enter your new Server ID and Token and click Update credentials.

Disable Blackfire monitoring

If you disable Blackfire this stops the monitoring on your site and removes the Blackfire credentials. If you only want to stop it without losing your credentials, you can Pause monitoring.

To disable Blackfire monitoring on your site, within WordPress sites > sitename > Tools Blackfire monitoring, click Change > Disable.

To confirm you want to disable Blackfire, click Disable Blackfire.
