WordPress phpMyAdmin – How Do I Use It?

Updated on March 12, 2018

Kinsta provides easy access to WordPress phpMyAdmin on all hosting plans. phpMyAdmin is a popular free application for managing MySQL databases. Follow the instructions below on how to find it and use it.

Important! Editing and manipulating tables directly from phpMyAdmin could break your site if not done correctly. If you are not comfortable doing this, please check with a developer first.

To access phpMyAdmin click into Sites in your My Kinsta dashboard and click on Manage next to the site you want to access. Scroll down to the Database section and you will find your database username and password which you can use to login to phpMyAdmin. To access the login page click on “Open MySQL.”
