Kinsta CDN is our premium CDN solution powered by Cloudflare, available at no additional cost for all Kinsta plans.

For our customers using the previous implementation of Kinsta CDN (powered by KeyCDN), we’ve got some exciting news. Starting September 28, 2021, we will begin migrating your CDN service to the new Kinsta CDN.

Why Change From KeyCDN to Cloudflare CDN?

Using a CDN with your site is essential for optimizing page load times and efficiently delivering content to your customers and visitors. With Cloudflare’s global network, you get even more benefits:

What About Custom Setups?

We’ve got you covered! As we migrate your site to the new Cloudflare CDN, we’re also implementing a temporary redirect from kinstacdn.com to your site’s primary domain. While that redirect is active, any hardcoded URLs or CDN URL entries in plugin or theme settings will redirect to your site’s primary domain. This way, static assets will load as expected.

You and your visitors may notice that the redirect has an impact on website performance. To prevent any adverse effect on your site performance, update any plugin configuration or hardcoded references to the old kinstacdn.com URL to the new URL (which is your domain name) as soon as possible.

Note: This redirect is an interim fix to prevent broken URLs pointing to static assets like media, CSS files, or JavaScript files during and shortly after the CDN migration. Because this redirect is a temporary fix, you’ll still need to update any CDN URLs hard-coded into theme or plugin files or in plugin or theme settings.
